What's your "hidden gem" spot on or nearby campus?

The backside of Swan Lake where all the trees are. There are so many little spots to sit or stand by the water and look at the turtles and fish. It's a really great place to clear your head or just relax. 

What does it mean to be a Laker?

For me being a Laker means giving to others what was given to me. Clayton State is the place that gave me more chances and opportunities than any other place and I want others to receive that and more. 

If you could give your freshman self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Become involved. It doesn't matter what or with who, but find your people. Whether it's in a club or a study group become a part of something and don't be afraid of something new or unusual it might turn out to be your favorite thing you do. 

Fun Fact:

A fun fact about me is I never paid full price for a textbook while pursuing my bachelor's.
